Who We Are
The Upper Cumberland Association of REALTORS® (UCAR) is a nonprofit professional association of real estate practitioners serving the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. For over 50 years, UCAR has championed the real estate profession, provided trusted resources to its members, and worked to promote a positive image of real estate in the community.
Our members include REALTORS® and real estate professionals committed to high ethical standards, ongoing education, and exceptional service for clients and the communities they serve.
Our Mission
At UCAR, our mission is to:
- Promote & protect real estate ownership in the Upper Cumberland region.
- Provide education and training that empower members to excel in a dynamic market.

- Engage with the community through service, leadership, and local initiatives.

A Legacy of Service
Since our founding in 1974, UCAR has grown from a small group of committed real estate professionals into a thriving association with hundreds of members dedicated to excellence and service. Over the decades, UCAR has provided leadership, education, advocacy, and community involvement that extend far beyond day-to-day transactions.
Some of our recent milestones and community initiatives include:
- Scholarships are awarded to local students across multiple schools.
- Participation in community festivals and cultural events to celebrate diversity.
- Support for local business initiatives, including Pick Tennessee Products at regional fairs.
- Community engagement programs that bring REALTORS® together to give back and make a difference.
